Donald Trump Arrived For Jury Duty In A Limo After Revealing His Stunning Immigration Plan

New York City received quite a sight outside the Manhattan Supreme Court today when a black limousine rolled up to the curb. Donald Trump showed up to perform his civic duty on Monday as a strategic part of his presidential campaign. CNN points out how Trump has evaded jury duty at least five times in recent years. Trump allegedly had no idea he was summoned for jury duty because someone sent his mail to the wrong address. Or rather, Trump owns the building where the mail arrived, but he doesn’t hang there on a regular basis. He reported today nonetheless, and his $250 sanction fell by the wayside.

Trump appeared to be dozing off during his time waiting, also as one does. This trusty snapchatter caught him in the act.

In other Trump-related news, he also dropped his immigration reform plan on his website. It’s a doozy, and Trump focuses once again on his belief that Mexican immigrants bring nothing but rape and crime to our fair country. Trump’s insistence upon “making America great again” will be accomplished by one main goal — a permanent wall along the southern border of the United States. Trump says the U.S. should no longer tolerate all of the costs of illegal immigration, and oh yes, Mexico should shell out for the wall:

In short, the Mexican government has taken the United States to the cleaners. They are responsible for this problem, and they must help pay to clean it up. The cost of building a permanent border wall pales mightily in comparison to what American taxpayers spend every single year on dealing with the fallout of illegal immigration on their communities, schools and unemployment offices.

Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; increase fees on all temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats (and if necessary cancel them); increase fees on all border crossing cards – of which we issue about 1 million to Mexican nationals each year (a major source of visa overstays); increase fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico (another major source of overstays); and increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico [Tariffs and foreign aid cuts are also options]. We will not be taken advantage of anymore.

The entire document spans several pages. In short, Trump wants to triple the amount of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. He wants to use these officers to break up gangs, to detain instead of “catch-and-release,” and to end what he calls “the biggest magnet for illegal immigration,” birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants. The entire immigration plan reads like a bit of a parody, but that also describes Trump in a nutshell.
