This Mural Featuring Donald Trump And Vladimir Putin Is The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of

This inspired piece of artwork is giving life to all of the Putin-Trump shippers of the world.

A mural, titled “Make Everything Great Again,”was painted by local Lithuanian artist Mindaugas Bonanu and unveiled on Thursday. The painting — which, (fittingly) graces the side of a barbecue joint in the country’s capital city — depicts Russian president Vladimir Putin and Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump sharing a passionate embrace.

The piece of art is a play on another famous 1979 painting that imagined Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev and former East German leader Erich Honecker locking lips — apparently a common form of greeting amongst socialist leaders at the time.

Obviously this thing has gone viral and the owner of the restaurant has already been reached for comment. In an interview with the Baltic News Service, Dominykas Čečkauskas explained why the artist choose the current painting’s infamous subjects:

“They both have an ego that is too big, and it is funny that they get along well.”

Can’t argue there.

It’s no secret that a romance has been brewing between the two bros for quite some time. Putin’s remarked that the Donald is a very “bright and talented” man while good ol’ tiny hands has praised the Russian half-naked horse whisperer by oddly implying that he was a man “highly respected in his own country and beyond.”

With the general election looming, Trump’s somewhat distanced himself from his secret love (ugh, politics) but this mural is giving the world hope again. Perhaps it’s not the transgender bathroom laws and restrictions on women’s rights that will make America great again. Maybe, instead, it’s simply the love between two megalomaniac dictators — a rugged Russian outdoors-man and tangerine-tinted, well-liked by Hispanics kid from New York. (Sounds kind of Shakespearean to me.)
