Chicago continues churning out talented emcees, and Rockie Fresh does not deviate from that norm. Electronic Highway is the MMG member’s latest offering, and, true to the title, the project is full of dope, high voltage beats like “Ride Slow” that borrows the bassline from Kanye’s “Love Lockdown.” With an ear for distinct beats and minimal MMG drops, the focus is instead on the young rapper as he takes his listener on an audible trip up the highway.
