Jay-Z may have jacked Thursday’s holiday, but that didn’t deter some brave artists from dropping their own projects. Enter TeeFlii with Fireworks.
Much like Ty Dolla $ign, TeeFlii’s aim is make his version of R&B even raunchier. For a DJ Mustard-helmed project, there is a slightly softer feel to Fireworks, yet all the elements that make up a Mustard beat are still there. Essentially, this South Central L.A vocalist is like a (more) ratchet version of Dream and a crooning version of YG rolled into one person. Besides the pioneer of ratchet rap, Dom Kennedy, Casey Veggies, Omarion, Ty Dolla Sign, and E-40 join Tee to celebrate the women, or as he calls them, the Annies.
