I can’t lie. Drake caught me off guard with the “Worst Behavior” video. What I expected from the very limited previews was the typical rap posturing in front of cars, silicon-injected models and all the trappings commonly associated with what rap is on the small screen in 2013.

Drake Worst Behaviour

What we got is Drake’s pops dressed sharp as a tack and showing off with a few older homies. We get Drake, draped in four owl chains, punctuating the song’s lines with different images representative of Memphis – the cars, the kids, the soul food shacks – making up the backdrop. And there’s an interlude with the strangest conversation between the owl mascot, Juicy J and “Pattycakes,” aka Project Pat. A stroll down Beale, guest appearances by Eighball and MJG. Yeah, this one worked out well for Drizzy.

It’s very clear that M-town brings out Drake’s “Worst Behavior.”
