As the shadow of Michael Brown’s shooting at the hands of a police officer continues to loom over Missouri, organized protests over the incident rolled across St. Louis today as residents called for justice with the unified declaration “Black Lives Matter” at police stations, city hall and at the Edward Jones Dome during tonight’s Monday Night Football game.

For a brief while, fans managed to get their signs across scoreboards, behind the cheerleaders and march through the upper concourses and stadium seating chanting, “Hands up, don’t shoot.”

Considering demonstrations continue just a few feet away from the ESPN trailers outside of the Dome, it’s a little embarrassing ESPN has not yet mentioned anything about the protests during their broadcast this evening.

There isn’t any way ESPN missed the protests. All they would have to do is look up, outside or beside them.

They just didn’t think it was worth mentioning.
