ESPN Examines Miami’s Music Scene And “Celebrity Row”

Maybe looking for something other to discuss aside from the Finals itself, ESPN took it upon themselves to shed light on Miami’s music scene in relation to basketball and the all important “celebrity row.” Since the formation of the “Big 3” in South Beach, Hip-Hop artists have flocked to the 305 ensuring the city is at least in the conversation with the Knicks and Lakers’ more storied popular fan bases.

Birdman (the rapper), Lil Wayne, Flo-Rida, Jimmy Buffet and more all break down the current landscape in M-I-Yayo while shedding light on why securing real estate court side is such an important task when in town. Aside from the obvious reasons, of course.

It’s not a bad slice of reporting from the self-proclaimed “worldwide leader.” However, it would’ve been dope to get at least one or two quotes from Uncle Luke and/or Trick Daddy. I’m sure they weren’t that busy.
