‘Fallout Shelter’ Oddly Invades Tinder To Find A Love Connection For The End Of The World

Just a week ago, leaked game play footage of Fallout 4 was found on PornHub of all places. Now, it looks like Bethesda is using an interesting hookup tool to advertise their new mobile game Fallout Shelter. That tool — don’t be a perv — is the popular dating app Tinder.

According to Kotaku, the company has created a Vault Boy and Vault Girl profile on the dating service to promote the mobile game to lonely millennials everywhere. The Official Fallout Twitter page also joined in on the new #DateADweller ad campaign:

At this year’s E3, Bethesda announced Fallout Shelter during their huge Fallout 4 presentation.  There are still a few months left before the highly anticipated next installment to the popular video game franchise hits consoles. However, to tide fans over, the mobile game was made available for download immediately.

Given the game’s features, the profiles up on Tinder make a whole lot of sense. Hell, the app even gives the player booty call opportunities to further propagate mankind amidst the game’s post apocalyptic nuclear hell-scape of an environment. Good times.

Here’s a screenshot of the Vault Boy profile in question, thanks to Kotaku:

As for Fallout 4, this long wait to head back to The Wastes is almost over as the title will release this November on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. For those interested in Fallout Shelter, get ready to drown yourselves in Nuka Cola as the mobile game is available for download right now for both Android and iOS devices.
