The Fantastic Four reboot from Chronicle director Josh Trank is set to be released March 6th, 2015, and the script from Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) is being rewritten by Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes). Fox is now making their shortlist of actors for the roles of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) and Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman).
Three actors Fox is testing for Mr. Fantastic are Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harington (You know nothing, Jon Snow!), Jack O’Connell from 300: Rise of an Empire, and Miles Teller, who is best known for Divergent and for looking like Rachel Maddow.
In addition to previous rumors about Alison Williams being sought for the Sue Storm role, Fox is also testing Kate Mara (House of Cards) as well as Saoirse Ronan, who may be too busy if her Star Wars audition went well.
We haven’t heard any names mentioned for Ben Grimm (The Thing), but Chronicle‘s Michael B. Jordan has been rumored to play Johnny Storm (The Human Torch). He totally looks like he could be Saoirse Ronan’s brother. They’re practically twins….
