Like they always do about this time, Forbes has issued their annual report on Hip-Hop’s haves and have-nots. For 2015, the top dogs remain pretty much the same as they always are, minus a bit of musical chairs. P. Diddy made his way past Dr. Dre as his investments in things like Revolt and Ciroc pushed his earnings up to the $735 million mark (Dre hit $700 million). With their equally diversified portfolios, Jay Z and 50 Cent both helped fill out the list.
What’s most amusing is that Birdman made the list at number five – down one spot from last year – with an estimated net worth of $150 million. With his ongoing legal issues with Lil Wayne, that information is kind of like stuntin’ too hard in front of a baby momma or people you owe money to. They’re definitely coming for their slice of the pie, no matter how broke he may cry.
