'Gotham High' Parody Masterfully Re-casts Batman Characters In A '90s Teen Movie

In one of the best mashup videos I’ve seen in a long time, has succeeded in re-casting characters from Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies and other classic Batman characters in a ’90s style teen movie called Gotham High. They used clips from a huge number of late ’90s and early aughts films, most of them including actors who starred in Nolan’s films.

Watch the video below to find out what Batman, Selina Kyle, Bane, John Blake, “Joseph Kuhr”, Commissioner (formerly Principal) Gordan, and others were doing in high school. There’s even a split second of original Rachel Dawes (Katie Holmes) dancing in a belly shirt in the school parking lot, plus cameos from DJ Riddler and Mr. Freeze.

Ever wonder what high school was like for your favorite super heroes and villains in Gotham? Now you can enjoy all their early beginnings in this prequel to the Dark Knight Trilogy. Directed by Christopher Nolan’s Son, Oliver. [official synopsis]

And sure, this Gotham High trailer might be quite long, laying the 10 Things I Hate About You clips on heavy, but we think you’ll agree the ending makes it worth the time.
