The darkness comes before the light. The thunderstorms and showers must come before the rainbows. And Gucci Mane could potentially sink to the bottom of the belly of the beast before he emerges a free man again.
Mr. Mane appeared in Atlanta court on Tuesday after being hit with federal indictments on weapons charges.
According to the report, prosecutors allege Gucci was caught displaying two different loaded pistols and acting erratic on two separate incidents in September, both occurring within days of each other. On September 12, Gucci allegedly got caught up with a Taurus 45-caliber handgun and eight rounds of ammunition. Days later on September 14, the indictment claims he was in possession of a Glock 40-caliber handgun and 11 rounds.
If convicted on both charges, Mr. Mane could face up to 20 years in a federal institution as well as $500,000 in fines.
