This Guy Allegedly Threatened To Kill A Former Porn Star And Broadcast Her ‘Bloody Head On A Stick’

A 25-year-old Georgia man was indicted last week amid allegations of “transmitting interstate communication threatening to injure an identified individual.” Brian Blankenship is accused of threatening a former porn star who goes by Malena Morgan over email and using the Periscope app, sending the woman a video message in which he said he would “end her life” in a similar manner to the way Vester Flanagan murdered his former coworkers, WDBJ reporters Alison Parker and Adam Ward in August.

In fact, Blankenship had sent this message on Aug. 27, just one day after the Virginia shooting. However it was not the first time he had made contact with Morgan.

Federal agents said Blankenship also used the address wrestlemania17@yahoo.com to send Morgan five messages on Aug. 20, making threats such as “when you walk out of your house and see me it will be to late”; “as soon as I have a clear shot when I see you”; and “you’re next periscope will be your bloody head on a stick bank on it b****.”

Although Blankenship used the pseudonym “Joe Cook” online, FBI agents were quickly able to track down his real identity and match his driver’s license photo to the images seen in the videos. When the FBI spoke with Blankenship’s mother, they learned that it was not the first time he had hinted at violent behavior — previously threatening to kill his own family — so it sounds as if a real tragedy may have been prevented. Blankenship faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

Malena Morgan no longer appears in adult films, having retired in 2013. However she does still maintain an online presence on social media. Here are some shots from her Instagram account:
