Meet The People Who Are Actually Furious That The Stanley Cup Finals Preempted Jay Leno’s ‘Tonight Show’

If you happened to dump all of your social network devices in a paranoia rage over the whole NSA spying thing, then you may not know about the epic triple overtime first game of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Bruins and the Blackhawks. The game went way over schedule on NBC, causing Jay Leno to get preempted on the East Coast.

One shocking revelation to come from the delay was the fact that people are actually upset that they didn’t get to see Jay Leno tonight. Naturally, most of Twitter was all “this is the best episode of ‘Leno’ ever” and “please let hockey come on every night,” but the Tonight Show fan base – which is apparently a thing – wasn’t having it. Thank you twitter for exposing us to the seedy underworld of people who went to bed sad tonight because they couldn’t watch Jay f*cking Leno.

America.
