Friends star Matt LeBlanc apparently had a major falling out with his father three years ago — and their relationship is still strained — which is probably why Paul LeBlanc, a mechanic, is speaking to celebrity tabloid Star Magazine about things he should not be speaking about.
For instance, Paul LeBlanc revealed Jennifer Aniston was allegedly stepping out on Brad Pitt on the set of Friends before Brad Pitt was stepping out on Jennifer Aniston with Angelina Jolie:
“He had fun, that’s for sure,” Paul tells Star Magazine of his son’s time on Friends. “He even had a relationship with one of the girls … Jen. They would make out in the dressing rooms. He told me about it — it was when she was married to Brad Pitt.”
So, Paul LeBlanc just drops that little nugget casually, as if he’s not about to reignite the Pitt/Jolie/Aniston wars all over again, huh? Because he just set off a bomb in the celebrity gossip world that’ll have the tabloids revisiting the Pitt/Aniston marriage for another five years.
On another note, in an episode of The Graham Norton Show not so long ago, Matt LeBlanc said — since his hair has turned silver — that he’s often confused for his father, and asked, “Hey! Are you Joey’s Dad?” Ironically, Paul LeBlanc also called out his son in the same Star interview, saying he will not age well:
“He was as good-looking as anyone in Hollywood, but he isn’t going to age well. It’s the high life – I’ll see him with his gut hanging over his belt. He’s not someone who keeps himself toned when he’s not in front of the cameras.”
If LeBlanc’s father’s relationship was strained before this interview, I can only imagine what it will be like afterwards. I hope Paul spent his tabloid money well.
