“Uh-oh! Heads up,’cause we droppin’ some sh*t.”

1994’s a lifetime away at this point. But at one point, Jeru was key member of Hip-Hop’s Golden Age of ’94, bolstered by his debut album, The Sun Rises In The East, and its key single “Come Clean.” The original Dirty Rotten Scoundrel was a fresh 21 but made a song that lasted a lifetime, structured around a Shelly Manne’s drum loop, an Onyx sample and headstrong lyrics.
