Jonathan Rhys Meyers Has His Creepy Eyes On ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’?

We don’t know much about Star Wars: Episode VII so far. We know J.J. Abrams is directing a script from Oscar-winning screenwriter and Star Wars fan Michael Arndt. We also know Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill will return in some capacity. Now Latino Review is reporting on at least one potential star who would be new to the franchise: Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

You might recognize that Irishman above from The Tudors, Velvet Goldmine, Match Point, or possibly from another film directed by J.J. Abrams (Mission: Impossible III). He’s also managed to get arrested at two different airports, so he’s got that going for him, which is nice.

Latino Review says they don’t know which role Jonathan Rhys Meyers will be playing in Star Wars: Episode VII, but it “sounds like he already has it.” Which doesn’t bode well for that Dracula TV show he’s starring in as Dracula. NBC just picked up the series. Does that mean it’ll be cancelled in one season? Oh, wait. It’s NBC. Of course it will. Carry on then.
