Kevin Durant, Jamal Crawford Combine For Over 100 Points In Seattle Summer League Game

Just like that, Kyrie Irving and Nate Robinson’s almost 100 points combined seems less of a feat.

Kevin Durant’s obviously no stranger to Seattle, having been drafted to play there by the then Supersonics. Everybody knows what’s happened since the franchise located to Oklahoma City in 2008: KD’s gone on to become the superstar he was destined be while Seattle’s fought to bring basketball back to the city.

On Sunday, Seattle got both Durant and prime pro action back, at least for one day. KD was in town – his first visit back since the team’s departure – to participate in the Jamal Crawford Pro Am. But he didn’t just participate, he put on a performance putting up 63 points (26 of 62 shots, 8-32 on three-point attempts) in a losing effort against Crawford’s squad, who put up 44 points himself.

Even though KD didn’t win, the crowd did and, gauging by their reaction. As did Durant, who later tweeted the message “I love and miss Seattle…damn”
