Kid Cudi Apologizes For ‘Satellite Flight’ Delay, But Promises It’s His Best Work Yet

Kid Cudi’s audience seems to be pretty damn niche at this point, so I’m not sure an apology for a delay on his upcoming mixtape/EP is in order. Still, the Hip-Hop world got just that Sunday, thanks to a series of tweets from the former G.O.O.D. Music rapper as he explained why he’s probably going to push the release date back a couple of weeks for Satellite Flight.

I can’t speak for everybody reading this, but Cudi is definitely one of those “talk to me when he releases something” artists. Not a bad distinction when considering the amount of rappers I outright ignore. But considering his track record since the original Man On The Moon, the Kid isn’t somebody I’m going to glue myself to Twitter over. When his new music happens, it happens and I’m always inclined to listen.

When one of his Twitter followers asked “do you think this EP is your best yet?,” Cudi responded “Most certainly. With out a doubt.” Of course, that remains to be seen and heard. But, at the very least, his projects are always worth three or four tracks that stay in rotation.
