Noted anti-sex slavery activist Ashton Kutcher — recently scene feuding with the Village Voice on Twitter over the matter — is a man of many talents, obviously. He’s a model, an actor, a prankster, a camera pitchman, the husband of a SuperCoug, the driver of a hot pink car, the man filling the sitcom shoes of Charlie Sheen, and now he’s a … wait for it … a traffic reporter for the Los Angeles Police Department on Twitter.
Reports the LA Times:
The LAPD on Wednesday announced that it was asking celebrities with large Twitter followings –- including actors, musicians and professional athletes – to send messages helping authorities get the word out. Officials want the celebrities not just to urge their followers about avoiding the 10-mile stretch of the roadway that will be closed on the weekend of July 15 but to encourage them to stay close to home.
The report goes on to note that, in addition to Kutcher, wife Demi Moore has also been enlisted in the traffic news spreading effort, along with Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian — because of course.
I don’t know about you, but I think I’ve just about reached my Ashton Kutcher news threshold for the week and happy to see him drive off in his pink car off into the sunset. Bring on the 4th of July weekend.
