LeBron James & Dwyane Wade Are Doing That Fast Break Thing Again

Please hurry and get me to October 29. I beg of thee.

The main goal of preseason is remaining healthy. Whenever one can see regular season effort beforehand, however, that’s just icing on the cake. Our very own David D. attended last night’s Heat/Pelicans game in The Big Easy with his son and better half. And while I’m sure the little guy we affectionally call “Bibz” had no clue what he was watching, he was able to – wait for it – witness Dwyane Wade and LeBron James do what they’ve been doing since the fall of 2010.

The sequence went a little something like this. A steal from James led to an oversized bounce pass to Wade. From there, Kevin Durant’s “favorite” two-guard left the ball in the air for Bron which inevitably meant two points and a Top 10-worthy experience on SportsCenter.

Bonus: During the same exhibition, Greg Oden suited up in his first competitive basketball game since December 5, 2009. He’s months away from being in regular season shape, but if this – good health, plus rebounding and interior defense, which he was known for coming out of Ohio State – is any indication of what Miami can expect closer to playoff time, they’ll have earned their investment. And then some.
