Damn, Maisie Williams. Back at it again with the hilarious social media content! Everyone’s favorite Game of Thrones actress (sorry, Sophie) took time out from her busy schedule to participate in a really fun video with NYLON Magazine. They dropped her in an unassuming little hobby shop and loaded it with cameras, so they could capture the reactions of everyone who came in as they realized Arya Stark was behind the counter.
The description of the video is “Maisie Williams Pranks Game of Thrones Fans” but I don’t think that’s really accurate. She’s not blowing watermelons up in people’s faces or pretending to murder someone. She’s just surprising people in the store and goofing around with them. If more pranks involved meeting Arya Stark and getting free Game of Thrones toys, I imagine that particular genre of humor would have a much better reputation than it currently does.
To get their free swag, Maisie has each person who comes into the store act out a scene from the show. Our personal favorites? Cersei and Jaime getting caught incesting by Bran, and the 60-year-old woman who runs around the shop flapping her wings like a dragon. I can only hope that I’m as willing to seize opportunities to have fun without hesitation when I’m her age.
