Manny Pacquiao went down and went down hard in the 6th round courtesy of Juan Manuel Marquez on Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The two faced off for the fourth time, with the hopes of erasing the stigma of the past three fights that have rendered their share of controversies. No questions remained by 2:59 of Round 6, when Marquez landed a heavy right hook, directly on to Pacquiao’s face and left Manny laying cold on the canvas. The fight was Manny’s first defeat via a decisive knockout.
