Bobcats’ Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Comes For Greg Monroe’s Soul

It’s almost as if someone on the court said “Candyman” five times then ran away, leaving Greg Monroe behind to deal with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. MKG goes up and gets all aggressive. And if you look closely around the :18 mark, Monroe mouths the word “damn” or lets loose an “oww.”

The dunk was so vicious and managed to get the crowd so animated that I’ll go out on a limb and say this was the best Bobcats play in the last two years. Such a statement is a stretch for most teams. However, we’re dealing with a squad that’s won 20 games total in the past two seasons so the statement seems highly believable.

The bad, but not surprising in the least bit news? Charlotte lost 105-99. Ben McLemore, I hope you’re watching. That and I’m still nominating Harrison Barnes for “Ego Crushing Dunk of the Year.”
