Summer’s winding down, which definitely sucks. And as it winds down, Casey Veggies decided to pay homage to the season most commonly associated with half naked women, exotic vacations and the period of the sports calendar which houses nothing but baseball and preseason football. “Summer, I Suppose” touts the feel-good vibes life is intended represented during said season. The Rich Kidd-produced number sounds whip-ready off one listen; certainly worthy enough to let ride out until hoodie season arrives.
Speaking of, hoodie season is dope too. In fact, that time of the year is arguably my favorite. Hoodies, Ralph Lauren skull caps, crewnecks, dope sneakers? Oh, and did I mention football season? And homecoming season? You’re damn right I just managed to get myself pumped up for autumn in less than five sentences.
While we’re here, take a look and listen as Casey sits for a chat with Ashley Outrageous to talk about tour life and being the supporting act, what branding means to him, what exactly is “Y.N.M.,” Young Jeezy tweeting lyrics from his track “Verified” and his plans for the rest of 2012.
