NFL Analyst Power Rankings (Official) #10- Mike and Mike

The Superbowl of the offseason (the draft) is over and now us NFL fans are stuck in the offseason of the offseason of the League year. Theres no actual ball being played until the preseason of the offseason so we have to make do with holdouts, fake injuries, and OTAs (optional, yea right i played a bit of football in highschool and onlything optional was beating up your worst  player after he got hurt in Oklahoma drills folks).

The reality is: theres no offseason for takes, and this is the time of year where folks like me and other respected football minds are hitting two-a-days making sure that when week 1 rolls around there not going to miss a step whether its questionig a players toughness, sexuality, or whether their a traitor to their race out there between the hashes.

I’ll be counting down the 10 sharpest minds in the industry. Where will your favorite analyst or sports person land? (probably not high)

Ranked on: Infotainment value, being a pros pro and strength of takes.

10. Mike and Mike

Infotainment value: 2

You just love to see old ballplayers like Golic having fun up there talking surgeries and playing through pain,,they would be higher but Greeny gets a 0 all he does is talk about his wife who I cant tell is attractive or not.

Being a Pros Pro: 10

Whether its translating just what the heck Chris Carter is talking about or dealing w/ the obvious sexual tension between the two of them, Mike and Mike know how to run a show and keep a audience engaged.

Strength of Takes: 0

I cant tell sometimes if these guys are giving takes or breastfeeding from Minnie Mouse (who is actually just about as attractive a cartoon as youll see IMO) but Ive never once heard them ask “Or you hurt are or you injured?” when a player tweaks a groin, Ive never once heard them take there hat off to Rick Reilly (you’ll see him later on this list you can bet), and they tend to give alot of air-time to your Keyshawn-type loudmouths who doesnt even need his own microphone he kind of just sits across the studio and yells about “where someone at.”

Best career moment: Any time they get Ditka on the show and just let him riff on slackoff players, what he thinks about guys out there getting their brains nicked, or consistency of his BM that morning. Although it was a shame the thugs in the Illinois political machine sabatoged his Senate campaign,, dont rule out a future in politics for old iron Mike. Theres not a NFL fan who wouldnt love to see him pin his ears back and take on Capital Hill.

Total Score: 12=not bad for background listening if your shopping for toilets
