These Oscar Nominated Films’ Posters Get The Winnie The Pooh Treatment

It’s easy to get bogged down in the self-important nature of awards season, so a little levity is always welcome. Polish film blogger David Adamek achieved just that with a lighter take on some Oscar nominees. Inspired by a hilarious tweet from user @dilsexia, Adamek decided to expand on the idea and create a whole series of posters using Winnie the Pooh. It works surprisingly well, giving us adorable versions of The Hateful Eight and Mad Max: Fury Road. No, really. I don’t know how much Adventures of Winnie the Pooh footage Adamek had to pour over for this project, but the results will charm the daylights out of you.

This is easily the cutest interpretation of a Tarantino film.

Quick, someone write a catchy ditty about heading to Bullet Town!

Does Pooh count as a white man? Because that’s the only way he’d get a part in The Big Short.

Not pictured: Rabbit’s disco soundtrack while he plants.

This rendering of Winnie the Pooh might be more realistic than the bear from The Revenant. Uncanny Valley to the max.
