Watch Morgan Freeman, Sir Patrick Stewart And Others Sing Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ In This Mashup Video

Taylor Swift is, arguably, the biggest pop star in the world. And she is inarguably busy. So, if you want to invite her to speak, you might have to go all out to get her attention. And that’s exactly what Oxford Union did.

The debating society extended an invitation to the 1989 singer via a mashup of previous speakers performing her hit “Shake It Off.” A$AP Rocky, Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, Morgan Freeman, and Malala Yousafzai are among the speakers who unwittingly took part in the invite. Check it out up top.

The video is quickly gaining steam, but it remains to be seen whether it will blow up to the level of “Welcome to the Stage” or this 7-year-old’s Swift melody. Oh, and whether Taylor will even respond, of course.

If you want to see someone covering Taylor Swift on purpose, check out the previews of Ryan Adams’ upcoming track-for-track recreation of 1989. These covers have already received Taylor’s stamp of approval.
