Who hasn’t felt as if no matter what they did, the snooze button just wasn’t enough at the beginning of the work week? This panda definitely knows the feeling. As if the most adorable of bears in the animal kingdom couldn’t be any cuter, one of the giant pandas currently at Adventure World in Japan had a rough (but cute) time in the enclosure this week. Due to the way the giant panda enclosure is built, with a sloping hill that leads into a trench, there is an entire side of the lawn that is ripe and ready for large animal cuteness.
While there is a slightly sad aspect about watching a panda not be able to get back up a wall by itself, the fact that the zoo workers are there to help it climb up makes it okay to laugh. The last time there was a bear that was this adorably inept at staying upright for a lengthy period of time it was Winnie the Pooh any time he got stuck in a honey jar. Pandas may be endangered, but they are certainly no less chubby and awesome because of it. We’ll leave you alone now while you re-watch this video over and over and over again.
