Soda’s something many of us take for granted. But for some people, drinking an ice-cold Pepsi (or Coke, because Coke is objectively better) isn’t possible. Take this woman for instance: She’s always wanted to try the soft drink, but suffers from a caffeine allergy (a real thing) and couldn’t take a drink for fear of the horrible consequences. That’s when her boyfriend, maker of dreams, took matters into his own hands and bought her a caffeine-free Pepsi.
Now, there are many things that Pepsi can do: It can make you smile. It can make you burp. And now Pepsi Co. can add “make someone freak out and cry” to the list of reactions that drinking a Pepsi elicits. Good for them. And good for this young lady, who has finally discovered the pleasure that a carbonated beverage can bring to one’s life. I’m just hoping Pepsi’s sending her a lifetime supply.
