If you happened to come across a cover of Linkin Park’s “Numb” as sung by popular internet animals being shared around on social media in the past week, that would be the brainchild of YouTube account “Insane Cherry.” Having realized the success of the first video, Insane Cherry is already back with this animal cover of The Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind,” featuring more of Gabe the Dog, NONONO Cat, Yelling Fox, and more.
Ever since the last season of The Leftovers, that show has been the only damn thing I can think of every time I hear “Where Is My Mind” since it was used so gratuitously in the second season, (sorry, Fight Club was a long time ago!), so with any luck now that memory will be replaced with cute yapping animals instead of Justin Theroux’s sweatpants gopher.
