The First-Ever Sonogram Of A Pregnant Tiger Shark Is Freaky And Fascinating

Would you care to look at some sonogram pictures? Sure, the tot isn’t yours (Maury will back you up) but you might want to gawk at it anyway. Sharks are involved.

According to Sploid, the first-ever sonogram of a pregnant tiger shark has been captured by cameras. Instead of throwing the footage into the ocean, Discovery elected to keep it (SENSIBLE) and you can check it out for yourself in the convenient pictocube at the top of the post. Just like all sonograms, you’ll either find it fascinating, disgusting, or boring. We all have our own feelings on the process of creature baking.

Twenty pups (with their terrifying shark mouths) have been taking residence inside their 12.5-foot long mom, Emily. Instead of simply cutting open the mother shark to see what’s inside, the team being filmed went with a less invasive route, one that provides a lot of intriguing images. This is probably the crown jewel and the best album cover of 2016. Swoop in and grab it, popular recording artists!

Some experts have expressed worries that shark attacks may increase this summer, but the way humans have been acting towards sea creatures probably fails to put sharks at ease either.
