And what will be hitting the comics shops this week?
- DC launches Talon and has a Madame Xanadu one-shot. There’s also more Batman Incorporated, part of Grant Morrison’s current tear and my second-favorite Batbook.
- Marvel rolls out A-Babies Vs. X-Babies and launches a new Punisher miniseries,
The Punisher Clowns The AvengersPunisher: War Zone. Supercrooks gets a hardcover, and Marvel continues to insist we care about the Clone Saga by putting out another $40 collection. Oh, and FF unfortunately gets cancelled today. - Image fires up a new Multiple Warheads miniseries, and has more Prophet and Revival, the latter of which has really grown on me as I’ve read it. The espionage comic Dancer also gets a collected edition worth reading.
- Dark Horse is bringing back Ghost and has a one-shot entitled Untold Tales Of Dog Mendonca And Pizzaboy, which I’m buying based on the title alone. OK, actually, it’s an extension of a great series in Dark Horse Presents, but it looks like a lot of fun.
- IDW launches Let’s Play God and Killogy, which, if it has to be yet another damn zombie book, at least has the decency to feature Marky Ramone (really.) Ghostbusters gets a 100-page giant, and Battle Beasts wraps up.
- And Boom! unleashes Bravest Warriors and more Extermination. And if you haven’t been reading Extermination despite my constant yammering about it, here’s another reminder to read it.
