Redskins Meltdown Leaves No Chance For Romobyl

Thanks to the Redskins allowing 8,000 yards in punt returns and their defense being unable to tackle, there was no hope for further Romobyl. Instead, it was RGIII who turned the ball over more, with a fumble inside the Redskins 10 then an interception in the end zone, both in the second half as Washington desperately tried to claw back in the game.

The Redskins offense by and large did look better tonight despite the turnovers. The problem is, it’s not ever going to be good enough to make up for their hapless defense. And now Washington finds itself two games back of both the Eagles and the Cowboys, with a loss to each. There’s still a lot of season left and the Redskins rebounded big last year down the stretch. But it’s unrealistic to expect that two years in a row.
