Prior to the rise of Twitter I’d be shocked if anyone reading this had ever heard of Rob Delaney. He was, to put it bluntly, a relatively obscure comedian. But perhaps more than anyone else, Delaney has effectively used the social media platform to turn himself into a bit of a celebrity, and his follower base of over half a million followers has helped him to fill seats at stand-up comedy shows across the country. And following the lead of the likes of Louis C.K., Jim Gaffigan and Aziz Ansari, Delaney is currently selling a stand-up special on his website for $5.
With that said, Delaney dropped by Conan last night to promote the stand-up special where he discussed his love for tormenting Mitt Romney and Kim Kardashian — who he sued last year — and his love for hairy women with the badly bruised host. Two clips from the segment are embedded below. Enjoy.
