A pair of anglers were watching a massive sailfish majestically dance and flutter atop the water off Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula last week when the unthinkable happened: the colossal fish rocketed like a sharp-billed missile right over the stern and into their boat.
As you can see from the footage above, the near-impalement by the fastest fish in the ocean sent the duo scrambling overboard. According to the Crocodile Bay Resort’s Facebook page, the fish was eventually released.
