Seattle Church Group Makes Remarkably Well Produced Seahawks Rap Video

As far as fan-produced NFL-related music videos go, this registers at a solid 7.5 on a 1-10 scale of “how long can I stay tuned in before I want to gargle drano?” All in all it’s well produced, but at the end of the day it’s still a church group making a rap video about the Seahawks.

The video is produced by the (B)Eastside Community Church and is the follow-up to their smash hit “BeastMode & Coach Pete which believe it or not, is also about the Seahawks I think.

The beginning is a nice slow jam sounding a little Macklemore-esque, until it turns into a club-banger that would make most college admissions departments cringe. Points added for production value, but a big deduction for mixed messaging as you can see at least two of the lesser-important commandments being broken in the video (sabbath, false idols, etc.) but you can’t win ’em all guys.

Good job, good effort “Beastside” Community Church. Looking forward to your rendition of “Thrift Shop” when your entire defensive backfield hits free agency all at the same time.
