The Seattle-Taunting 49ers Fan Billboard Isn’t Even In The Same County As The Seahawks’ Stadium

Responding to such Seahawks fan mischief as the 12th Man buying a commemorative brick at the 49ers’ new stadium and flying a banner over Candlestick Park when the teams met in December, San Francisco fans raised enough money to put up a billboard in Seahawks territory that would wave the Niners’ trophy dicks right in their face.

Well, now the billboard is up, but there’s just one problem:

A group of 49ers fans who raised money for a billboard in Seattle to brag about their team’s five Super Bowl trophies got their sign – but it’s nowhere near CenturyLink Field.

The digital billboard is just north of Fife, about 27 miles from downtown Seattle.

Ever the competitors, Seahawks fans wouldn’t let 49ers fans get the edge in depressing fan antics, so their next move, naturally, is photobombing a billboard.

On Sunday, a Facebook event invited the 12th man to photo bomb the billboard on Dec. 28.

“The 49ers thought they would out do us by putting up a billboard near our stadium.. epic fail since it isn’t even in the same county!!! Let’s get together and show them a billboard doesn’t scare off the 12th Man and have a photo bomb of the billboard. You know how we do!!” the page says.

That’ll show that advertising space who’s boss.

In other news, the Seahawks and 49ers fan bases should just bone already.
