Ghosts, goblins and the return of Timbs and hoodies season. These are a few of my favorite things. An artist like Sheek Louch can appreciate that and, with his Lox crony Jadakiss rolling up White Owls at the dope house, the two are out to remind you that after all these years they are still “Sucka Free.”
Over stabbing synths and triple time hi-hats, the Silverback Gorilla keeps it all the way grimy from start to end. His trajectory over the last two years has been impressive as he went from almost skippable verses to some of the dopest bars in the crew. Don’t think for a second that Jada took a breather on this either. While he doesn’t cover new ground, you can almost hear the duct tape screeching as he fastens the plastic drop sheet to the sides of the trunk.
“Hard plastic or chrome it, face shot or dome it
Right after he die, need silence for a moment
Stuck with my n***as and my n****s stuck with me
And we ain’t on a diet but we stay sucka free”
This cut lands from his Gorillaween mixtape, which should spring a leak any second now. Until then, here’s an extra cut to spin as the third member of the team, Styles P., joins in for ““Keep It Gee.” We’ll update with the full project later once it releases.
