Why you say that Gottyâ„¢?
Cee-lo is getting a lot of shine off the Gnarls’ shit…
For two, the homie AirAnt (respect due) shot me this joint, Dungeon Family tree – The unofficial history of the dungeon family, when I rememebered reading it over a year ago. Briefly, it’s basically the history of the crew as it formed and evolved during the first ten years. Pay your respects to one of the influential hip-hop collectives of our time, dare I say this decade.
Then, Ant turns around and links me to what’s gotta be one of the most amazing collections of B-sides, guest appearances, outtakes, et al. that I’ve run across…There’s no way I can list every track included in this piece. All I can say is if you call yourself a fan of any member or group included in DF, you’ll thank us for it. We’re not taking credit for this one…we’re just a thankful and continuing to play our role as a conduit bringin’ the shit to you, ‘lest it pass you by…
Lastly, a good friend kept running around, screaming “Got one foot in, one foot out…Of the ghetto/Ghetto, ghetto, ghetto, ghetto…” and I kept asking “What the fuck are you singing? I know that shit…”
The answer to the question, this track…
So we’re just stopping thru to pay homage to one of the dopest crews hip-hop has been blessed with.
