John Stamos Posted A Heartbreaking Tribute To His Beloved Dog Linka

We like John Stamos. Come to think of it, everybody likes popular entertainer John Stamos. (Except maybe the occasional TV exec and/or Nielsen household.) So when the Fuller House star hurts, we hurt too.

The 52-year-old actor/musician/yogurt pitch-hunk revealed some sad news on Instagram earlier today. Stamos shared that his golden retriever Linka had passed away. It’s a gut punch familiar to many a pet guardian.

“She was always there, especially in the dark times,” offered Stamos in the caption accompanying his photo with Linka. “Never judging. By my side. Only loyal. #rip Linka”

Fans were quick to offer comfort and situation-specific emojis to Stamos. In just seven hours, over 1000 comments (almost exclusively messages of support) have popped up for that particular Instagram post. Linka has been a regular on the actor’s Instagram account and the two have loads of photos of their time together. Particularly at the pool.

What a photogenic pair! Although Linka may have gone to the big Snoopy-esque doghouse in the sky, Stamos still has the support of another adorable dog at this time. Stamos also has a canine companion by the name of Freida in his life. We wish them both the best at this difficult time.
