Well, this game is over. Let’s recap the first half, shall we?

Matt Schaub threw a pick-six on the third play from scrimmage. It was his fourth pick-six in four games, a hilarious streak that is also an NFL record.

The Texans put together a decent drive but missed a long field goal. The 49ers responded with a lengthy drive that ended with a Frank Gore touchdown. The game is over at that point, but y’know, gotta have something between commercials.

Matt Schaub threw another interception but it was shockingly not returned for a touchdown. The 49ers scored anyway and the game was extra over.

Deluded into thinking the game wasn’t over, Texans converted a desperation 4th and 2 near midfield with a few minutes remaining in the half. They did nothing with the possession and it remains 21-0.

In fact, the only interesting stuff happened in the player intros. Donte Whitner is not yet officially Hitner, but he intros himself as such.

And Antonio Smith is from the Shaolin Temple because he’s the least interesting member of Wu-Tang who isn’t U-God.

Ed Reed also introduced himself as “born for this” but recorded history doesn’t go back far enough for Ed Reed’s birth so impossible to confirm.
