The Alleged Heroin Addict Found With Rosie O’Donnell’s Daughter Faces Up To 10 Years Behind Bars

After a frantic search, Rosie O’Donnell’s 17-year-old daughter Chelsea O’Donnell was found in the New Jersey home of an alleged heroin addict name Steve Sheerer. Now, Sheerer, 25, is being charged with “child endangerment and communication of obscenity,” according to state prosecutors, and faces up to 10 years behind bars.

Sheerer and Chelsea had met on Tinder and “evidence of inappropriate communications over the last several weeks” led to his arrest, says the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office. Chelsea had been staying in Sheerer’s Barnegat Township home for the week that she was missing.

It’s not the first time Sheerer’s had problems with the law. In the past, he’d been charged with third-degree possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and served time in jail back in 2013.
