The third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises has arrived, and it’s super dark you guys. Batman doesn’t even show up until halfway through, and instead we get Bane running roughshod all over everyone and everything while being somewhat intelligible. I think he said “I’m Gotham’s reckoning”, but it may have been “Come watch my rectum sing”. Could be either.
Also, this trailer brings up more questions about who Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing and makes it look as though Catwoman is more of an ally to Batman than the last trailer portrayed her. That’s assuming he didn’t kick her off a rooftop after she tells him he’s already given enough to Gotham. Their relationship is a little complicated.
The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20th, and we can’t wait. In preparation, we’re all doing this:
