I’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed III, like everyone else, and I’ll have a review for you later this week. So far, though, if you like Assassin’s Creed, you’ll like this game.
That said, here’s some of the more amusing stuff going around, either paying tribute or poking a little fun at Ubisoft’s massive franchise.
Courtesy our friends at Smosh.com, Robo featured this as his lead link yesterday, but it’s really worth a close look, both for the fact that they nail the trailer fairly well, and also because it pretty much sums up the game.
One of the problems the game has, even after the patch, is that at high notoriety enemies endlessly respawn (there are other AI issues as well; get in front of a general and then walk reasonably far away, and you’ll see what I mean). So, uh, this can happen:
At a certain point in the game, especially if you haven’t installed the patch, somewhat anachronistic NPCs will start appearing. I’ve seen this guy a lot, so thanks to his hat, I’ve dubbed him Burgess Meredith.
