My dog is an Australian Shepherd, and if you’ve ever seen what those things look like, she basically resembles a character from a Disney cartoon. But for whatever reason, people in cities tend to be terrified of dogs, so it’s not unusual for people to growl at me to “keep that thing away from [them]” or even literally scream out in terror if we approach someone not paying attention while out on a walk.
So even though she would never hurt a fly, I feel pretty safe having her around the house. What would not give me the added benefit of safety, however, is any breed of dog with the words “teacup” or “poo” in the name. And while I’m not sure exactly what kind of teeny little dog is in this video, which was taken in South Africa, it still managed to scare the living sh*t out of a would-be burglar trying to break into one family’s home. Hey, burglar man! If you get chased off by a dog the size of a cat, maybe it’s time to reconsider this whole “burglar” thing. Maybe aim a little higher, like robbery or shoplifting? Just stay away from bodegas with cats, of course.
