For a parent, I’d have to imagine that one of the most special things about having a second child is breaking the news to your first child that he or she will be a big brother or big sister. One can hardly fathom the amazement and anticipation that unfolds on a child’s face as they grapple with the excitement that there’s going to be a new baby in the house!
Or, you know, they have to fart. Right at that very moment. Because kids are curious and innocent and filled with wonderment, but they’re also unpredictable little gasbags.
