Once again America is falling behind, not only in education and the economy and all that crap, but also in game shows where people fight cars. In Japan, the world’s biggest Street Fighter 2 fan recently dressed up as Ryu and recreated one of the classic video game’s bonus stages, wherein you shoot fireballs at an automobile. Unfortunately, evolution hasn’t gotten to the point where humans can produce flames from their hands — THANKS DARWIN — but Fake Ryu did get to jump on the car and rip it apart, like a dog working its way through a bone.
Video games in real life is something a network like ABC or NBC should think about. I would gladly join the cast of a television show where a monkey throws barrels at me.
