A 36-year-old woman in Houma, Louisiana is wanted by police after severely burning her sleeping ex-boyfriend with a pot of boiling water. Houma police say the alleged perpetrator, Lynette Tyese Joseph, also surrounded the bed in thumbtacks before she fled.
The incident was reported around 2:30 a.m on May 21.
According to WDSU:
The man suffered severe burns to his torso, right arm and face. He was taken to the burn center in Baton Rouge.
Joseph left the area after the incident, police said. She is wanted for questioning.
