Three Villains Revealed For Arkham Asylum 2?

For a place that’s so hard for Batman to sneak into, Arkham Asylum sure has a hell of a lot of leaks. And by “leaks,” I mean chatty voice actors who love talking about the work they’re doing on hot new video games. Sure it makes our job much easier, but they do realize that people read the internet, right?

We’ve had three reveals this week, starting with Maurice LaMarche (one of the greatest voice actors of all time and voice of Kif on Futurama and The Brain on Pinky and the Brain.) Apparently, he’s playing Mr. Freeze..although he may not be worst villain of the bunch. He tweeted:

I’m about to go in and do Mr. Freeze for Arkham Asylum 2 … He’s out for blood right now because, err… I can’t tell you the situation, but he’s actually somewhat a sympathetic character within the framework of the game.

Stana Katic (who’s on Castle, apparently) tweeted that she’ll be playing “Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Ra al Ghul (played by Liam Neeson in ‘Batman Begins‘).” Now, it seems pretty unlikely that they’ll be trying to combine the movie continuity with the game…I’m asuming that Batman Begins is just the only exposure she’s ever had to the character of Ra’s Al Ghul.

The last reveal came from the ultimate voice-of-Batman Kevin Conroy (who did the voice in Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League and Batman Beyond…not to mention recently doing a stellar job on Batman: Brave And The Bold as “The Batman of Zur En Arrh.”) While at this weekend’s C2E2 con, Conroy revealed that Two-Face will be a villain in the game.

Oh, and he also revealed that he thinks Christian Bale’s Batman voice is ridiculous and just wishes someone had told him that.
